Your Beaumont Mildcatters pulled a classy move when they relocated their tournament slot from the Novice Division to the newly created Rec. 3 Division. However, many teams saw this new division as something to take advantage of and did so with devastating results. Teams that were, at the VERY least should have been classed Rec. 2 and maybe Rec. 1, dropped down to this new wing so they could actually win one for a change! Totally weak!!
Your local tournament team dropped all three games, failing to reach the championships, but really pulled it together for the finale on Saturday afternoon. To play at that level, against teams that play together ALL THE TIME, the Mildcatters performed well, especially after getting a couple of game under their belts and finding that chemistry. And as we all know, a team with good Chemistry will always be a force to be reckoned with. Hope to see these guys back for another tournament of good competition soon.
