**Announcement**--Space City Ice Station has entered into an agreement with Golden Triangle Ice Hockey to provide ice time for a spring time, Saturday night recreational hockey league.  This league is currently scheduled to start March 27th, 2010.  The cost of this league is $300 for skaters, $200 for goalies and $30 per game for subs (subs are afforded the same food & beverage benefits for that game only).  Our mission with this league is to bring our competitive and fun hockey league to SCIS on a regular basis and provide the hockey players at SCIS with a consistent schedule that fits their budget. 

Basis League Structure:

• 13 week season with games played on Saturday night with the first game starting at 7:30 (on or about)
• 18 minute stop-time periods
• Certified and selected officials, on and off-ice
• Jersey provided
• Free food in the bar after each game
• "Other" refreshments made available for the players after each game

Player requirements:

• USA Hockey member and must provide USAH number
• Be willing to teach and be taught
• Enjoy playing hockey in a fun yet competitive atmosphere
