Roughnecks Rough up the Space Invaders, In Spite of Being Shorthanded...again

Beaumont keeps their winning ways alive by tossing up another win against the Space City Space Invaders.  This makes the second win in a row while playing shorthanded for the hard skating Roughnecks.  The team put shot after shot on the Space Invaders goalie and play an in an obviously methodical way.  Playing with 8 skaters, what choice did they have? 

The team went down by three goals to none by the start of the second period, but rallied back to tie and eventually take home the win.  After coming out skating like thier hair was on fire, the Space Invaders started to lose their composure when full bench couldn't crack the Roughneck defensemen, who stood like a castle wall in front of net minder Chris O'Quinn.  One of the Roughneck forwards was over heard saying, "You know you got 'em on their heels when all they can do is whack you on the feet as you skate by them with the puck."  ...true enough. 

Beaumont's pride has been plagued with personnel scheduling conflicts all season and has learned to play with that handicap...just image how devastating this team can be with a full bench!!
